Weekday Delivery:

Orders received via our website before 1:00pm Monday - Thursday will be processed & shipped for an overnight delivery. If your order is to be shipped for a weekday delivery there is no cut off time for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; we will process on the Monday and deliver to you on the Tuesday.

  • Orders under £75 will be subject to a £10 delivery charge
  • Orders of £75 and over will be delivered free of charge

If you order on Friday and wish it to be delivered on the Saturday your order must be placed by 1:00pm (and the Saturday delivery box must be checked).

Saturday Delivery:

All orders required to be delivered on a Saturday must be received via our website before 1:00pm on Friday and the appropriate box must be checked.

  • Orders under £100 will be subject to a £25 delivery charge
  • Orders of £100 and over will be subject to a £15 delivery charge

Here are some examples:

  • An order placed at 3:30pm on a Tuesday will be processed by us on the Wednesday and would be delivered to you on the Thursday.
  • The same order placed earlier on the Tuesday - say 12:00 midday - would be processed that same day to be delivered to you on the Wednesday.
  • An order placed any time Monday - Thursday with the Saturday delivery box ticked would be processed on the Friday and delivered to you on the Saturday.
  • An order placed on Friday at 12:00 midday with the Saturday delivery box ticked would be processed that day and delivered to you on the Saturday.
  • An order placed on Friday at 3:30pm with the Saturday delivery box ticked would be processed the following Friday to be delivered to you on the Saturday.
  • The same order placed on Friday at 3:30pm with the Weekday delivery box ticked would be processed on the Monday and delivered to you on the Tuesday.

All delivery dates will be confirmed by e-mail.

All delivery charges are calculated automatically during the check-out process.

Delivery of livestock
  1. We are sorry but no returns of livestock can be accepted. So please be sure to research your intended purchase before parting with your hard-earned pennies.
  2. You have a 48 hour guarantee that takes effect from the time that you sign with the couriers.
  3. Your 48 hour guarantee covers death due to the health of the livestock and the stress of the journey. Every effort will be made by us to only ship livestock deemed to be in full health and 100% fit for the journey. If our acclimatisation guidelines have been followed and the animal should die within the 48 hour time period please email us with a reasonable quality photograph (a mobile phone camera will be more than adequate) of the deceased out of the water - say on the lid of the poly box it was delivered in - alongside the 'pre-dipped' test strip that was supplied with your package. If a photograph is not possible please contact us to discuss your options.
  4. Our guarantee cannot cover death by tank-mates, inappropriate acclimatisation procedures or inappropriate tank/water parameters. For example: marine fish will die in a fresh water tank.
  5. In the unfortunate circumstance that you receive your fish after it has breathed its last breath, please sign for it as normal and return your purchase to the courier clearly marked as a D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival). We will then contact you, via e-mail or phone, to arrange replacement or a refund as agreed by both parties. If the courier has left before you realise your predicament then e-mail us with a photo of the un-opened bag. Please do not open the bag and attempt mouth-to-mouth but do, please, triple-check that the animal has stopped breathing and is not just lying on the bottom of the bag in a cream-puff (playing dead) as some fish are prone to doing.
  6. In the same way as our dry-goods, all orders received before 1:00pm are delivered by courier as a next day service. As it is livestock only one attempt at delivery will be made. If this attempt by the courier should fail (i.e. no one is in to accept the delivery) we will try to alert the addressee via contact telephone number. If this too fails we must, for the welfare of the animal in transit, have the courier return it to ourselves. We would then contact the customer by e-mail to arrange a further course of action. Under such circumstances, any refunds made to the customer would be at our discretion and considered specifically to the individual case. Furthermore, any refund would be solely for the price paid for the animal in question i.e. would not include any delivery charge.
  7. If the delivery fails due to an error on our (or the courier's) part we will contact you as soon as we are aware that there is a problem and arrange with you another suitable time for delivery as well as inform you of any compensation that might be due to you.
  8. Again, although every effort will be made to ensure the arrival of your livestock on the day after you place your order, we would emphasise that this is NOT a guaranteed next day delivery service. Therefore, we at Internet Aquatics cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or loss of earnings etc. as a result of delayed delivery or non-delivery.
